Edo 2020: ‘We Must Return APC Back For Sustainable Development’ Oshiomhole
Adams Oshiomhole, the Edo State former Governor and immediate past National Chairman of All Progressives Congress has said Edo State must return to All Progressives Congress, APC, to ensure sustainable development.
The APC stalwart speaking in Auchi when he was ambushed by a huge crowd of supporters while on his way to his Iyamho village from Benin City, the state capital said he is back and ready for the job, making reference to his removal as APC Chairman.
Oshiomhole said when he became governor of the state, he was a chairman of anything and had also left as President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC.
He said his intention of arriving late in the night was to quietly go home and then make appearance tomorrow (Monday) for the business. He however thanks the crowd for waiting to give him a warm welcome.
He further said that he is glad that God has driven the snake that entered family home to where he belongs. Referencing to the defection of Governor Godwin Obaseki to PDP.
He further said that he has come home to join the people and start the process of reclaiming the house back to the family of APC and that his mission is only one which is to bring back Edo to the part of sustainable development.
He added that he is sure that it is a common goal as every individual.
