Youth Ministry Opens Portal For App Development Challenge
The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in Partnership with the Public and Private Sector has invited Nigerian youth to participate in a 60 Day App Development challenge aimed at engaging young Nigerians in the act of designing a mobile application to improve a range of processes and increase the ease of accessibility to services available to the citizenry.
The ministry said rationale behind the mobile app development challenge is to seamlessly connect and interact with persons making it a valuable tool for modern businesses and government.
It said the app submissions must solve a problem within the educational technology, Agricultural technology, Sport, Health, Financial technology and Telecommunication.
It also said there will Grand Prizes of N1 million for each wining innovation in all the six categories.
Also there will be Business Development training and more for the winning participants.

The ministry said the submission date start on Wednesday 8th July, 2020 and shortlisted entries will be contacted by the evaluation committee.
