PDP blames APC for incessant killings
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has lamented the failure of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) and the All Progressives Congress(APC) administration to curb the rampant killings of vulnerable Nigerians by bandits in Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Borno, Kaduna, Kogi and Taraba states and other parts of the country.
This statement was contained in a statement from the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbodiyan, in Abuja on Sunday.
He decried the fact that the several troubled communities which had been liberated by the previous administration of the PDP were now being occupied by bandits and armed groups without a challenge. He accused the administration of not making adequate use of the funds that have been allocation to security in the country in recent years.
The PDP questioned the scenario in which bandits and armed groups were operating in various communities in Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Borno, Kaduna, Kogi and Taraba states unhindered.
The Spokesperson of the PDP also asked Nigerians to question the whereabout of the ‘mecinaries’ that the APC brought into the country to participate in the 2019 general elections.
