COVID-19: Kwara records Another death
Kwara State on Tuesday lost another COVID-19 patient, the second casualty since the pandemic broke out in the state.
The announcement was made by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor and spokesperson for COVID-19 Technical committee, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Wednesday 10th June 2020.
The patient was a 50-year-old female with serious underlying medical conditions.
The spokesperson expressed the State Government’s condolence to the family of the deceased.
The Committee also announced that 18 more patients have been discharged from the state Isolation Center after testing negative twice.
The government commended health workers especially those in the front-line for their relentless effort so far to see the state overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. The spokesperson says the state is consoled by the recovery of other patients.
